Where TSS-3000 fits
The 3-inch seam and deeper pan make TSS-3000 the right profile for a specific set of projects:
- Commercial and institutional buildings — schools, retail, industrial roofs on low slopes
- Modern-architecture residential where the roof needs to read as almost flat
- Long, uninterrupted panel runs where the extra rib depth prevents oil-canning
- Additions and porch roofs at slopes too low for 1" or 1.5" mechanical lock
Why TSS-3000 from Standing Seam Canada
We manufacture TSS-3000 in-house on our own roll-former in Kleinburg, Ontario. That means no distributor markup, no waiting on inventory in someone else's warehouse, and no compromise on colour or width — you specify the panel and we roll it. Matching custom flashings, clips and trim are bent in the same shop and ship on the same trailer.

Frequently asked questions
What is the TSS-3000 panel?
TSS-3000 is a 3-inch mechanical lock standing seam panel designed for commercial and architectural metal roofing. It uses a 180° double-locked seam, hidden clip fastening, and can be manufactured in widths from 16" to 24" in 26, 24, 22 or 20 gauge steel — with optional stiffening ribs in the pan for a flatter, more finished look on long panels.
What slope can TSS-3000 be installed on?
Because of the 3" seam height and the fully mechanically-seamed lock, TSS-3000 is approved for very low slopes — down to 0.5:12 (approximately 2.4°) when installed with in-seam sealant. That makes it the go-to profile for commercial buildings, low-slope additions, and modern-architecture homes where the roof reads almost flat from the ground.
TSS-3000 vs 1" or 1.5" standing seam — which do I need?
1" and 1.5" mechanical lock cover the vast majority of residential re-roofs. TSS-3000 (3") is chosen when you need to run on a lower slope, when panel runs are very long and you want the added stiffness of a deeper rib, or when the design specifically calls for a heavier commercial standing seam shadow line.
What gauges and finishes does TSS-3000 come in?
Standing Seam Canada rolls TSS-3000 in 26, 24, 22 and 20 gauge steel (Grade D, 50 KSI minimum yield) with PVDF Kynar 500 finishes in the full colour range. Widths 16" through 24" with or without stiffening ribs. Matching custom flashings and stainless clips are manufactured in the same shop.
Can I get TSS-3000 shipped across Canada?
Yes. TSS-3000 panels, clips and matching flashings ship direct from our Kleinburg, Ontario factory to job sites across Canada. For long-panel projects we can also bring our mobile roll-former to your site so panels are made in continuous single-piece lengths.
